My Background
I was born in Lima, Peru. I
lived there till age 15 when I moved to USA. At first it was
supposed to be only for a summer vacation but before the summer was
over, I was on my way to New Jersey to live with
an american family as an exchange student, that's when the FUN started.
I lived in Jersey for about 3 months and moved to Buffalo, NY to live
with some relatives of this family (The Zelesnack).
After the summer we moved to Chicago, IL. and I went to MONTINI high
school (in Lombard IL.) for my
sophomore and 1/2 of my junior year.
By then my parents have moved from Peru to Tampa, Fl. During a christmas
visit I decided that it was warmer
in florida so I moved in with my parents. I graduated from TAMPA
CATHOLIC high school in 1988.
I started college but was was soon fed up with school so I did the
next best thing: I joined the Navy in Sep '89.
During my Navy years I lived in Orlando, Philadelphia, Norfolk, and
San Diego.
I was on board the USS KITTY
HAWK (CV-63) and saw some action during Desert Storm.
I got out of the Navy on Sep '93 and decided that I should do something
with my life so I started college at
Miami Dade Community College (MDCC).
Currently I'm attending Florida International University (FIU)
in Miami, Fl.
and should be an Industrial Engineer (I.E.)
by Apr '01.
