The Argentine Beef Secret
The Argentine cattle selectedfor export and classified
as "Choice beef" by the American FDA, is basically Black Angus cattle,
raised at a natural region of the country called "Pampas Humedas"
(Wet Prairies). The virtue of this
region is a balanced, mild weather all year round, with four types of grass
that grow free of fertilizers, allowing the animals to be natural grass-fed.
The result? A tastier, leaner beef with less cholesterol. American
cattle is grain-fed on feedlots most part of the year because of climate.
Grains contain mild hormones, anabolics and antibiotics in order to obtain
a good size and healthy animal.
